Tax Deductions List - Things You May Have Forgotten About

So im currently in the process of getting all of this years taxes prepared and i figured it might be a good idea to make a list of things that can be written off as part of your taxes.

Utilities (gas, electric, water)
Phone lines - Only after the 1st line.
Home repairs
Office repairs
Mileage (Driving to Office Depot for stationary, ink, etc)
Furniture (Desk, office chair/s, floor mats)
Dinners with clients (including model scouting at local bars and clubs)
Magazine subscriptions (adult mags included if used for research purposes)
Internet connection.

If there are any things you write-off for your taxes that you think should be added to the above list feel free to add those also, anything we can do to help each other save some taxes and all that stuff :thumbsup:

I do NOT prepare taxes anymore, but the biggest most importantest :-) thing to do is have a separate checking account for business expenses. Even if it is in your own personal name and you have to write checks from one account to the other, KEEP A SEPARATE BUSINESS ACCOUNT.



That being said, don't forget software purchases, domain purchases, memberships to competitors websites, VISA fees, bank fees.
