PACIFIC SUN Payment issues?

Wondering if any companies are having trouble getting paid from PACIFIC SUN? They owe us a large amount of money and we have been getting jerked around over payment, any other companies having issues with payments from Pacific Sun ?

I have never dealt with them but have heard similiar srtories before . Of course lots of peeps have an agenda regarding trashing other distributors . does he move decent numbers for you ?

Yes we have spoken to moty several times. He at one point sent us over a credit card for payment, but later charged back. These monies are due since Feb '07 and we keep getting jerked around as to when we will get a check.

We have offered a payment arrangement, but now they don't take our calls or respond to our letters. The next step is we may have to take them to court. That's why we wanted to know if others are having similar issues.

The owners of our company thank you very much. They were going to place a large order this week from them, put on back burner until they see how this turns out. Maybe they are having money problems. We have heard his clothing line was doing great.

maybe you should place that large order so these poor guys can get paid. SAre there any other responsible distributors who can move large numbers of ethnic material for you ? was moti moving ok numbers ??

Doesn't matter how many numbers they moved ... Looks like they haven't been paid in 10 months. They could have moved 10,000 pieces and all that means at this point is that it cost the studio more money to fulfil those orders, and that Pac Sun owes them even more money that they are likely going to have to sue to get.

Good luck with this. Getting money from some distributors is a tricky game with no easy solutions.

I realize all of that. I am very fortunate to have been guided so well in my selection of distributors, John @ miamistudios.com and lynton @ white tiger are both very ethical and quick payers :broccoli: :broccoli:
