External Mail Servers

Hi!
My hosting company is having a bad time delivering emails of late and everytime I ask their test ones come through OK.

Does anyone know of or use a good external mail server company - I know Google Apps do it and I know Microsoft Live did it at one time (but I can't find the link).

Basically I want to keep my hosting where it is, but all email etc is sent and received through the external server.
