What do you guys do when you have gigabytes of data to upload to your server? I have like 10gb to upload, but it will take days to do it here on our connection.
Are there office stores or cafes or something that I could go to and upload it all superfast?

Some hosts will let you ship a portable hard drive to them and they will connect that to your server and transfer the files for you. I know that national net and my other hosting company both do it... so you might check with your host to see if they can accomodate you on this.

Even at an internet cafe, (if they have a T1) will still take you the best part of a day to upload 10 gigs. I have really never seen super fast uploads any any public place before.
I guess you can ask some of your friends what types of connections that they have. Verizon Fios now advertisies (30 Mbps/15 Mbps) and that would help you out greatly!

I use something that Luke told me about, i cant remember the name of it though and its on my desktop which isnt turned on right now.

Does it actually work?
it was an SFTP client from http://www.winscp.com/ - its free, the only catch is that your FTP account needs SSH access to your server to use the "S" in SFTP.
