You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

What Makes You Stop Promoting A Sponsor?

Is it over-saturation? Board posts about them? Questionable business practices? Bad support?

When and how do you decide that a program you are promoting is going to be dropped from your lineup?

    Regards,

    Lee

When it ceases to be of benefit to me, either from poor sales, poor tactics, or whatever.

Board gripes generally have little impact for me, unless the sponsor is a total wanker, or one of those faked arrogant two faced liars, who on gay boards pretend to be gay friendly, but on straight boards are total gay bashers. hmm, guess board gripes do play bit of a role...

    anyhow my 2 cents

Meeting them in person at a trade show and finding out what a total ass they are...

    Or...

Reading some of their threads on the boards and thinking to myself... "Man, this person is a fucking idiot."

i won't drop a program just because the rep is an idiot. shady business practices that i have a good reason to believe are true - not just one guy bitching on a board - would be one reason. not being paid or not being able to convert are two more.

Yeah I agree. I guess I should have specified that the program owner is an idiot or an ass. I would not drop because of a rep...but if the program owner was a total ass, I don't think I would want to help them make money.

Of course, no sales is a given.

I can tell you what is important: Timely payments.

Funny that one of my best sellers is soooo slowwww in paying... well, maybe not so funny. Especially now, during the holidays...

It's really a combination of things for me. I guess after a while in this business I just get a feeling about a sponsor/site that I just can't explain and decide to move on. The last sponsor I stopped marketing was because a friend runs a site in the same niche and I just decided I would rather give my friend the sales than some huge company.
