Program Owners - Do These Pages Make Sales?

    http://www.real-bucks.com

On the Real Bucks index page there is a link for surfers and a link for webmasters, i was wondering if any sales were actually made from the 'surfer' links on these pages or if its a waste of time creating one?

I mean in reality, how many surfers do you folks think actually go looking for affiliate programs?

    Regards,

    Lee

i've seen several programs with pages like this and on some level it does make sense from a filtering perspective. Some surfers are going to find those pages either through links, curiosity, or search engines... and I suppose this type of filter might steer them back in the right direction.... or at least some of them anyway.

They PROBABLY do make money. The reasoning is like this -

Each tour has a webmaster link. Surfers click just about anything. So they most likely goto a tour, click a webmaster link, then see that landing page. "looking for free porn", they probably click.

These pages I believe started when programs used the affiliateprogram.com/blah/blah as the linking code that redirects to the paysite. Nats for one uses this linking method.

Its likely that a surfer might actually type in the linking domain rather than click a link.

If you are running a ccbill program I feel these pages are of little benifit. You are loosing traffic to ccbill.com not to your own affiliate program
