New Here - Help With Adult Webcam Services?

Hi everyone. I am new here. My name is Marc and I am the Operations Coordinator for 1800GAYLIVE. If you aren't familiar we are a telephone based gay chat and hookup service that has been in operation for over 15 years now in 7 cities across the US as well as a National Line. I have been working for the company for almost a year and I really love what I do. I work on lots of projects behind the scenes, research various aspects of our callers, help get the word out about who we are, etc. It's never the same day twice in the office, but that's fine with me, keeps life interesting.

I came upon this website because I didn't know where else to turn for help. We are looking to take our telephone-based brand and tie it in with the Internet more. We recently added a pay-per-view theater from AEBN on our website and that is doing well for us. One of the other things we recently tried was working with gay porn stars and having them perform free live webcam shows that only our paid members could access. One at a time they could talk with the star and watch him on his webcam while he jerked off. Well actually, more than one person could watch the cam, just only one person could talk at a time, and we made our money because they had to pay to talk to the porn star.

Anyway, we used the Yahoo Instant Messenger service as our webcam service and in all honesty, it is a pain. You have to have or create a Yahoo account first, then you and the porn star have to add each other to your list of buddies, and he has to invite you to view his webcam when the show starts. And I think as a result, the participation in our events has been less than stellar due to the cumbersome process involved in seeing the performance.

We are looking to see if there are other webcam based services that we could use to a) have our porn star use on his end as a performer while b) customers with access that we provide can view the show without paying. If there is a charge for US to run the show that is one thing, but we don't want to bill the customer by the minute to watch. And obviously we can't allow anyone to just log on by accident, we want there to be some sort of special link or password that we would provide the customers the night of the show so only they would be able to see it.

The question is... does such a service exist like this that allows adult content? I thought I had found a site like what I was looking for called Stickam.com, but they are more for 14-18 year olds and clearly not allowing porn stars to masturbate on their service. :jerkoff:

If anyone has any sort of information that could help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

how about camz.com ? that's what amateurs and pornstars without webmaster knowledge use. i hear it's a bit of a pain, but it has its upsides including giving your members access to the camz network.

If you already have a members area setup on your site, you can pretty easily set up a simple webcam viewing page and post a schedule of who is going to be on and when.

If you'll send me a private message with your contact details I'll see if I can come up with some webcam suggestions for you.

Thanks for everyone who has replied so far. I am not ignoring any of you, but things are busy in the office as one of the key people I work with is out for about 2 weeks while his partner undergoes back surgery, so there is a lot to do and not a lot of people to do it. I have these replies bookmarked and will look into all the sites recommended and see if any will fit with what we are looking to do and get back to you as soon as possible.
