Showing MONEY shots?

Ok. I need your opinion. What do you guys feel about showing "money shots"? Usually we don't send out the cum shots, but in the last update I did. OUCH!

I mean Matt H. just shoots! I actually told a couple bloggers to say how much he really shoots. Sales with this last update have been REALLY good.

So, are "money shots" good or bad? Here is the pic that "slipped by".

I think one shot like that will entice people to join.

If you have the cum shot in every set you're going to give away too much and people can jack off and cum without joining your site.

We had (until they removed all commercial content) about 100 clips on Xtube, and mixed in there were some that had abbreviated cumshots in them.

There's no question that by giving away the cumshot, people can get off to it, but I think that if it's done judiciously, it can also get you a ton more views, get your video (or gallery) favorited and revisited many times by a surfer, and as such, will ultimately yield better branding and visibility which will translate to more sales.

However, I also think it's a very fine line. As soon as you start putting a LOT of cumshot material up, you shoot yourself in the foot and both create an expectation in the free porn surfer that he can get free cumshot porn, which decreases the likelihood that he will be willing to purchase porn, and decrease the overall value of your membership site.

In short, used judiciously and sparingly, I think cumshots can be helpful, particularly if they are dramatic ones like the pic Lloyd posted. Overused, they will kill sales.

for over a decade people have been telling me not to give away any cumshots and to give minimal hardcore - and for over a decade hardcore with sometimes a single cumshot pic has been making much better sales than no cumshot and very little hardcore.

Also I think mid air cumshot pics are more successful, as people will want to see where it all lands and how much the guy shoots.
