Bell could use some love right now
I also was wondering where Bell has been, and finally saw her online tonite and learned that a very close family member was hit head on in a car crash monday nite ... needless to say, she's had a rough week and is exhausted. The person has been moved from ICU but things are still pretty bleak ... but, I'll let her provide details later as I don't want to intrude on their family privacy, but do keep her and the family member in your thoughts and prayers.

what a sweet thing for you to do Bec - posting this ...
thank you...
thank you all for your prayers and well wishes...
update - she's been released from the hospital...
she will recover... not 100%... but she will be
able to eventually walk again... may take a year or
so...
she's still in pain... but she's a brave little spirit...
she'll be fine... I stayed nearly round the clock in the
hospital... and then she went to a handicapped accessible
place for one week and I went with her stayed 24/7...
then I offered to bring her to my house instead to be able
to care for her AND get back to work (have to pay the bills
somehow....) so we're here at my house now...
been her almost 2 days... allot of adjustments to be made
and had to also move everything she owned where she lived
before the accident into storage and let her bring a trailer
full here... gave her 2 rooms of my home... and working
a little at a time to get her things settled in and mine
moved out of the way and into storage... allot of work yet
to do... but I am still happier here even though it adds
allot of work to move belongings and furniture...
when I get a chance in a few days... I'll post the pics of
what was left of her car after the head on collision at 50+ miles
an hour... it wasn't a pretty site... when I was called to the
accident scene she was still trapped in the vehicle they needed
to cut her out of the car... it was slightly after midnight
and she was on her way home... she had some take out food in the
car and a couple packets of barbaque sauce... those packets
burst and were all over the dash board and her car radio and
steering wheel... when I pushed past the paramedics and police
to put my head into the car and my check up against hers to kiss
her to let her know I was THERE... I saw all that and thought
it was blood... and knowing she'd already been trapped injured
in the vehicle for more than 30 minutes... I didn't think she
would surrive till they could get her out...
it was the all time worst experience of my life...
thank you all for your prayers - it means the world to me...
with much love....

I know the days and months ahead are going to be full of extra stress for you both, but I'm so glad to hear she was released and that you were able to take her home. Continuing to send loving thoughts and healing for you both.

Bell...I don't have any great words, and I'm not quite the wordsmith Bec is (yet)...But I know that the knowledge of thoughts from friends and family is, on some level, comfort and support enough. You know you are part of this family. We are all thinking of, and praying for you...whatever prayer means to each of us.
If there's anything more I can do at any time, please don't hesitate to let me know.
