I always seem to wake up early the next day after having a heavy day of drinking yet, when i havent been drinking the previous day, i always seem to wake up late? :eek:

Perhaps the alcohol acts as a muscle relaxant and your body needs less sleep because of it? :drunk:
probably "guilt" from the night before as you "scurry" around the house like a mouse trying to "clean-up" before one of your respectable friends/relatives drops in. ( interpreted: their timing is impecable and it's usually when your at your most unexpected and/or worse. )
it sounds though as if it wasn't too bad because if you had spent all night visiting the bathroom "coughing" every hour on the hour you'd be exhausted and you wouldn't have waken up early...I'm guessing :drunk:

Because alcohol is a depressant (meaning it slows down your metabolism, not meaning it depresses you). So when the effects wear off, your body's metabolic 'pendulum' swings the other way and you begin to experience the effects of a stimulant. It's the same reason why you are also usually pretty horny the next day after a nice l'il binge.....
