    How many sites do this...

"The CCBill powered affiliate program states, both on their web site and in the Email I received, they pay 50% of ALL joins and rebills (50% taken after credit card processing fee). After signing up I checked this from the CCBill admin panel and discovered the following:

    * For recurring subscriptions - payments for rebills end after 2 rebills
    * For trail subscriptions - payments for rebills end after 1 rebill.
    "

It just "seems" weird. Are other sites doing it as well?

I should've paid more attention. I was plugging a site for about 2 months and stopped because I couldn't get past breaking even. Now I see why. Turns out their payments are set to "Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills" on both trials and recurring.

Shanked! I won't make that mistake again.

HotOlderMale and Tony & Cam are the two sites in my CCBill account that are set to "zero" rebills. Good thing I didn't run them for long.

Are you sure about this? I get piles of rebills for HOM and a few from Bareback Masters. Maybe this is a new policy?

as i recall, ccbill has this set to default. program owners who aren't aware of that might not change it as they don't even know it's there.

I don't know what the real story is, but yes that's what my account is saying. Trials and Recurring Subs both say "Payments for Rebills End After: (Zero) rebills". I would post screenshots but I don't have enough posts yet.

I did get a few rebills from T&C for a little while. Maybe something changed.

I'm really glad you brought this topic up. I'm setting aside some time this week to weed out those sites that have their program set to zero rebills.

I have to admit I usually only look at the payout percentage on the summary screen to make sure it matches what they are advertising.

I really wish CCBill had the rebill info on the summary screen. With the number of CCBill sites I promote, going into each site's details page on any kind of regular basis is going to be a real pain.

webmasters are getting paid for my rebills - i just asked some - and mine says zero, too. yet these options in my ccbill account are very definitely both checked NO

    Pay for Initial Sale
Sets whether or not the payments should be continued after a specified number of times. Select Yes to display the Stop After Rebill Number Text Box, which allows you to enter a number where you want to stop the rebill payments. Select No to allow the rebill to payout continually.

    Stop Paying Rebills
Sets whether or not the payments should be continued after a specified number of times. Select Yes to display the Stop After Rebill Number Text Box, which allows you to enter a number where you want to stop the rebill payments. Select No to allow the rebill to payout continually.

so i think that zero thing is a ccbill display error or something... will be talking to ccbill about this and will let you know what they say.

The 0 (Zero) is paying on all rebills, this has been discussed many times over the years on a variety of message boards.

Its just CCBills way of setting the default value to something other than 99.

I believe there are even archived topics on this on GWW.

Puto, that's fine; since they're a flat $20 PPS and the rebills don't apply.

    Yes they do.

You make $20 for each new sale and rebill that you generate during the month.

I just asked Mark to post in this thread to clarify the Zero Rebills issue to clear things up so that us program owners arent made out to be cheating our affiliates

    Lee
