Australian Webmaster Lunch

So I've been thinking about it for a couple of weeks now and I thought this thread might get some people thinking.

How many of my fellow webmasters out there are actually based in Australia.

I just thought it might be an idea for us all to catch up for lunch sometime.

It seems you may not have heard, but you might want to know about this Adult Webmaster Conference on the Gold Coast on 24-25 July:

This is the 2nd one of these, the one in January being quite successful from all reports.

I am not sure if I will be going yet, because I am going to Internexxt in Florida a couple of weeks after that...

On the drinks/dinner idea, you boys can count me in any time - I'd LOVE to meet you all, I'm in Brisvegas, but have motivation will travel.

OK, so we have intent now we need to plan!

First up we have to choose where, is it going to be Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane (West Coast is a bit too far me thinks)

Maybe we could do something late June maybe the 18th or 25th. Being a friday night, you never know what might happen lunch might turn in to a night on the town!

So the best idea is to find out who is where and reduce travelling for the majority!

I thought the easiest way to figure out where to have it is a poll.

Hey Aussies:

I'd love to join you, but I won't be Down Under in the very near future. I do have a question for you guys:

Do you guys use Pistol Media / GunzBlazing? I signed up with their affiliate program two months ago, and I'm almost now up to my first $100 minimum check. They've been great.

I actually have some of my porn site customized for AU & NZ websurfers. I found a mail order company website that has an affiliate program, and I link to them for AU / NZ sales. They are called UncutGayDVDs.

I've sold a few things here and there through them. Anyone else use them? OR have you all found a better affiliate for selling gay dvds over there?

Hey Allan,

As CuriousToyBoy mentioned, it would be good to muster a national gay crowd for the http://www.aaiconvention.com/ (and also support organizer Teen Angel who has done an amazing job pulling a bunch of not-so-social Aussie webmasters together).

Maybe we could do something en-gay-mass Friday night the 23rd of July on the Gold Coast? Before the actual AAIC event? It means a double bang for the travel buck.
