    WordPress dropping breaks

    Would you know a way to fix the darn "break" issues?

    When I add some page breaks:

    <p>
    <br>
    or <p>&nbsp;</p>

    Wordpress will, for some reason, delete the code so I don't have any line or paragraph breaks. It seems to be a bug in the release but there must be something other then turning off wysiwyg formating.

    I have the latest WP version.
    All udpates. And use Mac and it has the same issue with firefox, safari, and opera. There seems to be a lot of threads about this bug but no one has posted any work around other then turning off wysiwyg.

    I had that in a theme I used, only work around I could find was to add a break in the code view of the editor. A real pain, but mostly I found it was due to the CSS configuration of the theme I was using, not really Wordpress itself. i used the standard /br tag which worked until I turfed the theme.

    wordpress

    Thanks!

    With what I have been reading it could be a bit theme related along with a bug or two in the editor. My next step is to redo the theme to fix some CSS gone mad and then also do the WP upgrade to see if the other bugs are fixed (and new ones created).
