Anyone In The Mesquite / Dallas Area?

I have a friend who is in town for a few weeks with no internet connection trying to find a couple of gay bars worth going to in the area.

Does anyone have any suggestions i can send him?

I found a couple of places online but i wouldnt know what they are like having never been to any of them myself.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated

It's been a long time, but last time I was there I went to a place called Moby's Dick. It was kind of cool, and very busy. Younger crowd, mid 20's. There were a few other bars all clustered together right in that area too...but like I said, it has been a few years...so I really do not know.

Moby's is now called Woody's, its a great place, all the bartenders there are super friendly. There is also Round Up which is a country bar, JR's which is a sports bar type, S4 is a dance club, and also has some of the best drag shows in its Rose Room.

Best thing about Dallas, all of those bars are located on 1 city block, so if he doesn't like one, there is another one within walking distance.
