Paysites On Non .Com TLDs?

I was just wondering if any of you folks promoted any paysites that were on TLDs other than .com?

Does this matter to you when choosing a site to promote at all?

I have a few .net domains i was thinking of putting a couple of small paysites on and was wondering if this would put potential affiliates off promoting them or not?

why would it matter to an affiliate? considering that a ccbill cookie - and many other programs' cookies don't last that long - it's of no advantage to me if the surfer can type in the site url. the only reason i care about a .com is when it's my own site.
