I Wonder? Anyone Know Of A Good Payroll Service/Program?

Now that we have our nightclub, we have 20+ staff members that we're going to have to be paying on a weekly/monthly basis and i was wondering if you folks had any suggestions on a company or software product we could utilize to handle all of our payroll for the club staff?

Right now everyone is on hourly rate, with the exception of Gary and Myself and we'd kind of like to be able to either send hours in once a week and have someone handle the payments or, input that data and have some software kick out a list of how much each staff member made along with how much we would need to withhold for tax purposes, etc.

Do any of you folks have any suggestions for me please on the best way to handle payroll of 20+ staff members?

    Regards,

    Lee

We use quickbooks for payroll. Easy to use and it integrated in the accounting program(duh).

We use ADP. They take care of all of it.

Quickbooks payroll service is a pretty no-brainer approach. Inexpensive, integrates to Quickbooks, very simple to use, but not the cheapest solution out there. Bank of America also offers a payroll service that I've heard from a couple of people they got for free in exchange for using their other banking services, so you might look into that.

Years ago, Paychex used to offer great deals, but haven't talked to them in a long time, and they may have been swallowed up by somebody else.

Lee...We use Paychex. They are nationwide and do all of the tax reporting for the state and IRS for us.

They aren't the cheapest around, but if you've ever gotten into trouble for stuff like not paying your federal unemployment taxes cause you didn't know you had to submit a coupon, believe me, it's nice to pay a little extra and know that everything is done correctly and on time.
