Why I will never promote Corbin Fisher

So I've sent three emails over the last few months to Corbin Fisher asking if I can sign up as an affiliate and promote them on my new blog. No response. Not even a "Thanks, but no thanks."

Granted, I'm a small fish in a big ocean right now but I'll remember this if I ever become big (and I have every intention to do so). I look forward to the day when I'm getting huge amounts of traffic and CF begs me to promote them. Ha!

Screw Corbin Fisher. There are plenty of other high quality sites to promote. And now I'm even more motivated to promote the others so that maybe I can steer some sales away from Corbin Fisher!

Sorry... I just wanted to vent a little. And also to take this opportunity to thank all you sponsors who don't mind working with newbies.

I had an Affiliate Account with CF some years ago, then one day I noticed it wasn't working and was sending traffic to an error page. I emailed CCbill and they had no idea what the problem was. So I contacted CF (which I might add, wasn't easy) and found out because I had not made enough sales in the previous 12 months they had cancelled my account. They claim they would have advised me by email, tho I certainly never remember getting one. I tried joining again, but like you, they have repeatedly ignored my attempts.

I have been with CF affiliate for many years. I do pretty good with them for sales/rebills. I have no idea why they no longer except affiliates. It seems like a bad move to me but maybe there is a reason for it. For the last two years they have been almost impossible to contact. I have no idea what is going on there. At one time CF was also pretty active on this board.

The reasoning at the time was that the bottom 95% of affiliates were sending the very traffic that the top 5% was going to send anyway. In other words, affiliates competing against one another and even the paysite itself.

It's interesting, but I think one other aspect may throw a wrench into this whole thing. How much exposure is this giving to future competitors? What would have been CF links are now going elsewhere.

Well I guess it makes sense to only choose affiliates that really put some work into promoting a prgramm and have the traffic to generate sales and therefore give them benefits in form of exclusive galleries and content to promote CF. Using reward power or something the like is no bad idea. They could have said "well ok, you have to generate at least 10-20 sales a month" or something like that.

But by the time I asked them we could have made about 2-5 sales with them per day by listing some galleries in good spots and I can't believe that a sponsor who owns a 50/50 program has no use for those sales.
