Hosting in Asia

Can anyone suggest a good hosting company that provides you with one IP address per domain?

Reasonable prices and office hours in a timezone somewhere in Asia would be a plus. Dealing with US or Euro hosting companies when you're in Asia is often a pain because of the time difference.

I have never seen that either. Many Asian countries have serious BW issues as well. I would assume that may even apply to hosts. You need to goo clean trace to your server from all over the world.

Many Asian countries filter porn sites, so I am not sure how many would even allow site to be hosted in Asia.

It's not so much a question if their actual servers are in Asia (that would in fact be difficult with BW issues and prudish regulations in most of Asia). It's more that I want to be able to speak to, let's say, accounting. Accounting is one of those departments not usually available 24/7 in most companies. Being in Asia, my "office hours" are when the US is asleep.

I don´t know exactly where in Asia you are located, but have you try to readjust your own office hours, in order to be able to speak to them in US?

For example: A friend of mine, used to work for a korean company, due to the 14 hours difference, whenever she wants to contact them she stated 3 or 4 hours more from her regular shift (instead of leaving at 5 , she was leaving at 9).

When I'm in Asia, which is about 1/2 of the year, I split my work day in two... 5 or 6 hours in the work day on Asia time, then I break, eat, nap, etc,, and then work a few more hours after 10 pm to give me time in the US time zone to do things necessary with US based companies, and when I'm there, I do the same thing in reverse to keep up with my guys working in Asia.

I doubt actually hosting in Asia is a viable alternative for this type of business, and you are likely better off hosted in the US or Canada or EU states anyway for both security, legality, and reliability reasons.

I don't know about you, but I would only have need to contact the billing department for either of my hosting companie once a month, two at most, and the rest could be handled by email. Seems to me that since it's such a low time requirement and considering all other factors, hosting in Asia might not seem the solution you are seeking.
