    Google Analytics

I am such a dumb noob.

I've been farting around with a blog for a few months and just yesterday set-up a Google Analytics account.

Wow... is this cool! It shows you how many people are visiting your site, where they came from, where they live (I had one from Alaska) and much more.

GA should be the FIRST thing webmasters get when they launch a site.

So any other noobs out there... get this NOW! It's free! Long live Google!

i like google analytics, but the stuff you're talking about is available with pretty much any server stats program. the good stuff for me with analytics is the analysis of the traffic.

Analytics can show you alot but you also must be careful to walk slowly through it and understand truly what is showing.

Huh? What the heck are you guys talking about? Comments like those are like giving a blow job and then quitting before the climax! You teasers! :fool:

Basschick: what other program is there that does more than GA and is FREE?

Alan: not sure what you mean. What made you form that opinion?

    Hey all -

FYI - Google Analytics is also integrated into CCBill's admin - with the ability to add code (provided by Google) to your forms. To use this feature, you just need a tracking code from your Google Analytics account.

But a great way to tie your transaction traffic stats into Google Analytics.
