WARNING - Ebay Pirate selling our photos

Hey everyone,

A member just notified me that he saw my photos being sold as prints on Ebay. So I checked it out and sure enough they were. And that's not all. I checked the other items and there are dozens of photos ripped off from other producers. See if this guy is ripping you off and report him to EBay. What astounds me is that this guy is an EBay "PowerSeller" with high rankings!!! He's been doing this for a long, long time and EBay has let him. Fracking amazing!

To stop this asshole I bid $100.00 on my photo set which is listed at $3.55. This will of course stop the auction. You may want to do the same thing.

why not bid regularly on the photos, pay for them, hand the copyright infringement over to your lawyer and then rip his guts out through his nose? This way he did not onlay attempt to sell them but in fact sold them.

a few months ago I think it was titan who was awarded over 1 million in damages for a few thausand pictures.

Wow, I won the auction to buy my very own Jake Cruise photo from this slimebag. It was the only way to get his name, address and phone number. Now I can have my lawyer give him and ebay a call. I'm going to go ahead and pay him the $5.45 so that money changes hands.

Note that Ebay never removed this auction even after repeated emails telling them to stop.

So ebay received the mails but did nothing to prevent copyright infringements - I hope eBay is not enriching itself by not stopping copyright-theives with their habit ob not removing goods which the seller has no right or licence from the owner. And I sure hope eBay can not be held liable for selling stolen or faked stuff like Rolexes or other brand wares

i had copyrighted material removed from ebay without all that. i just wrote to them and they took care of it.

I reluctantly "inheirited" the entire All-Worlds video collection, the entire Bobby Garcia collection, as well as the entire Body Shoppe video collection, all on VHS! When the UPS driver backed up to my door with the 27 boxes, he asked "where do you want these?" (A sick friend said he was getting rid of some videos, and asked me if I wanted them; I had no idea...)

Anyway, I attempted to put them up for sale on eBay, and when I posted an image of the box cover, I put a little star (or other shape) banner on the top of the image saying things like "hot, on sale now", etc, etc.

eBay canceled 18 of the listings AFTER THEY HAD SOLD because they said their policy says you can't place images on top of box covers, because they "might" possibly be covering up explicit images. Hello! I was listing in the Adult, Gay category...

Anyway, eBay sucks. I hate 'em. and Paypal too.

PS I still have most of the VHS tapes; hundreds of them, if anyone is interested..most are in like new condition, probably only watched once.... :cheerleader:

AJ's boyfriend sells some of our DVDs on Ebay. It's a constant hassle dealing with the "mature audiences" section. Listings get deleted for no reason, when you ask for specifics so you can comply, you get either no info or incomplete or wrong info, and the whole thing is a huge pain.

And, of course, you can't process any "mature audiences" items through PayPal.

You get the distinct impression that they don't really want to mess with adult stuff at all, but are afraid they will have too much backlash from discontinuing it entirely, so instead, they just make it as difficult as possible.

We are still selling DVDs on eBay from time to time, you can use paypal, it's just ebay dosent want you to. So we send invoices after the auction is completed with out PayPal information in it so the customer can send payment directly without using eBay.

Oh and I should add, we have had at least 4 accounts and when they are deleted no one, and I mean NO ONE from ebay will even talk to us on what we were doing wrong. We follow their terms and conditions to the T and still we get locked out. It's been a year since we have been removed so knock on wood!

I had that two, with some non-adult DVDs. They write "I bought that DVD on eBay, too", but a) cannot remember to have that DVD sold to someone with that username, and b) cannot remeber that I sold that DVD several times. I emailed that person, but no replied. I have put the Keywords in the ebay automatic search and if that happends again, I will get a notification and contact Ebay. That would be my advice for you.

Sometimes when I'm looking at the original artwork section I'll see drawings that I recognize as having been copied from porn photos. I saw one sell for over $300 a few months ago. It looked real good, but no disclaimer that it was inspired by porn.

Having your copyrighted material removed from ebay is a very simple process if you know how to do it. You MUST use the ebay VERO system.

If you don't use it, it is very difficult to get it removed before an auction ends.
