We meet with our web designer ( she has extensive experience in the straight market) she is going to do a 7 page expandable template for us - any suggestions on how we should guide her in the gay market would be helpful. This will be a free site so we will also be interested in affiliate programs she can approach. Any help would be appreciated. The site should launch in Mid August. Also should we launch more than one site at the same time to increase our sales revenue. Thanks

I think we're needing a bit more information on what you are calling a "free site" before we can offer up any advice to you. A free site is usally an index/warning page that shows some advertising but no nudity and your linklist trades. It then has a link to the next "main" page that has more ads and a thumbnail for each of the free galleries you're going to show them. The next 2-4 pages are the galleries. Is this what you're having made?

Yes, we are planning a gallary site. We will hopefully have both TNG and banner ads. Are we on the right track.

Ok, if you're wanting to run a TGP site ... I suggest you slow down and go do a bit of research on the scripts that run that type of site. You'll need a designer that can provide a design for whatever script you choose. Currently I'd say the most popular of the TGP scripts is Smart Thumbs, which is offered by www.smart-scripts.com. They do offer a free version, which takes a percentage from skimming, but it would allow you to test it out, see if this is the right type of site for you, etc before making a script purchase.

And RoboTGP http://www.robotgp.com/

Those should get you a good jump on what to look at for a tgp script/site.

what 7 pages do you need templates for? seems like you'd need the main tgp design and maybe if you can't do html, a webmaster submit page. and maybe - barely maybe - an archive page, but you don't really need that.

She is suggesting a welcome/index/2257 pages, a galleries page, vod page - links to another supplier, contacts, and links page. I will be able to update in Microsoft Frontpage. I will ask her about the programs that Bec suggested - like I said this is kinda of a new thing for her - she has been building ad sites for female pornstars - so all the advice is very much appreciated.
