for blogs and handling RSS feeds for multiple sites, get Blogs Organizer. They have a really cheezy e-bay style sales page, but just ignore that and know that its the simplest and most effective multi-blog and RSS script that I have ever found, and its cheap at just ~$150 and comes with really good support too. Plus its way more secure than the typical free blogging scripts like WP.

I run about 70 blogs with it, including our 20 hosted affiliate blogs and RSS feeds. Loads of other programs use it too.
