Gadgets Pretty Much Everyone Has These Days?

I was just talking about technology with mom and we got on to the topic of how iPods are seen to be everywhere these days, you can hardly walk around your local shopping mall without seeing someone with an iPod plugged in to their head these days.

What other gadgets over the last 10 or so years do you think everyone pretty much already owns?

Cell phones, iPods, digital cameras, games consoles, are the 4 that immediately spring to mind, any others you folks can think of?

Everyone I know has a portable flash drive. My son had one on his list of school supplies from the school.. go figure. times are changing :bunnypancake:

At the last show in Florida, every single person had an iPhone.

cell phones. ok yeah most people in business have them but i read that the average age of a kid getting their first cell phone is 7 !!!!!

That may be so here. I know my son got one at 11, and was the only kid his age in class that had one. This was in Australia though, and when he started high school at age 12 (because they have no middle school there) most of the kids had phones. :cowboy:

Speaking of things most people have now.. don't most people have headsets with microphones on their computers... and webcams?

Surely most people have flat screen TV's now too eh?

I'd get an Iphone in a heartbeat, but AT&T out here sucks. Every single time AJ and I talk (he has an Iphone) we lose the connection at least once. Plus, AT&T is legendary for their awful customer service.

But I am looking forward to the Google Android phone
