Warning Page Text - Do You SEO It?

I was wondering, how many of you folks that use warning pages on yoru sites actually use text that is keyword rich for the search engines within the disclaimer itself?

If you do this, do you try to change the disclaimer text on each site that you build or are you using a generic cut and paste version of your disclaimer text on each site you build?

For the past few years i have to admit that i have just been using generic text however, the past month, on the freesites i have been building i have been changing the wording used on my warning page disclaimer text to match the niche i have built the site for and have actually seen a nice increase in SE listings for these freesite warning pages, i cant tell if sales have increased or not because of this but traffic certainly seems to be up slightly, was wondering if anyone else had done this?

    Regards,

    Lee

When I began doing AVS sites I started doing this. I put my basic warning text on a GIF or JPEG so that snippets of this text would not be pulled into search descriptions of the site, as they tend to sound illogical to a surfer.

Then I worked a little with the surrounding text on the warning page.

I also feel that it is good to mix it up a bit. Warning pages on different sites can be more focused on different niches or different aspects of a particular niche.

I always SEO the warning pages on the sites I work on - each site gets it's own text specific to its niche and models.

The SEO world is so odd right now - it's hard to see exactly what is working, being measured, etcetera.

BUT - white hat techniques and good keyword use will never bit you in the ass so why not?

I'll do either of these, as well as target a couple specific niche keywords for naming the site, put them in the title, the keyword and description metas, as well as the name of .html page the link will use for the next page in for the thumb links.
