I would use www.newyork.craigslist.org and post in there jobs section under video, as well as media design you will have no problem getting dozens of replies from quality video editors and graphic designers in NYC. I have hired many from NY craigslist, using one now who just graduated from NYU, who is working out very well. Just be specific in your ad and mention the type of content they will be working with, and that you would prefer someone who enjoys that type of content ( muscular males) All the serious ones will be able to send you samples of there work, and a resume of there skills. You should get plenty of good candidates to choose from.
