Our New * Geo - Instant Messenger Tool * loads ACTUAL PERFORMERS! <<<Look<<<

    IM Popup Ads

We just released a new promo tool for our arsenal of live cam upsells; the instant message popup. One simple line of JavaScript handles loading the ad on your pages, you can set key variables like:

    • Load Delay in Seconds
    • Link Target
    • Max # of Times to Load the Ad per User
    • Choose from Girls, Guys or Shemales

Our ads are unique in that they feature the name and image of a performer who is actually live on the site. So unlike other ads in this genre your surfers are sent straight to a live video feed; not a generic landing page.

Why would you want to trick the surfer in to clicking on an ad?

I dont see the need for these personally, these have been used and abused by spware companies for years they are nothing new and personally, whilst they may increase clicks to a site, i dont see any reason they would increase sales, in fact, i would guess they would have the exact opposite effect, i know whenever i get one of these popups on a site i close my browser immediately.

I'm sorry you feel that way Lee. However, our ads are unique in that they feature the name and image of a performer who is actually live on the site. So unlike other ads in this genre your surfers are sent straight to a live video feed; not a generic landing page.

Hey, i dont mind that you want affiliates to trick the surfer in to clicking ads, its all good, i just dont see how doing that is going to make surfers feel at ease with surfing porn sites.

It would seem like over the past few years we actually seem to be seeing more confidence with surfers accessing adult websites because consoles and endless loops of pop-ups have pretty much gone the way of the dodo, yet over the past 6-12 months, companies and individuals are starting to ramp up their efforts to trick the surfer into getting to our sites again.... Mostly spurred on by P2P network marketers who are already taking advantage of stolen content to generate their sales anyway.

This is only going to take us back to the days where porn sites were considered pariahs by many because they used deceptive marketing tactics with no thought to the greater damage they were doing to the industry as a whole.

If sites arent selling as well as they used to, there is a reason, and deceptive marketing techniques isnt the solution, imho.

I dont see why using the same techniques that those profiting from illegal P2P and torrent sites use puts the companies using those same deceptive marketing techniques in any different boat to those profiting from illegal, stolen content.

There is a reason P2P marketers use these marketing techniques and it isnt because they are 'innovators' its because they are no good at selling a product honestly.

    Regards,

    Lee
