Whatever Happened To The PDA Porn Movement?

3 or 4 years ago everyone was talking about porn on the PDA, these days it seems not so much.

Was this a profitable business model that those who got in on the fad early are still profiting on or, was it a short lived concept, much like the TGP2 concept was and it wasnt actually as profitable as those pushing the idea would have had us beleive?

Did any of you folks start designing sites for PDA devices? If so did you make any sales/get any traffic?

I never did. The whole movement seemed gimmicky with to many unknowns.

I built a couple of sites, nothing fancy but never really put much effort in to them for the same reasons, to many unknowns.

I wonder if it was a case of a concept being ready before it should have been?

With Blackberrys, iPhones and other mobile devices being more popular these days when it comes to browsing the web, could it have been a concept that didnt work then but, could work well in the current climate?
