In an effort to improve our sales I want to start purchasing traffic. I have tried buygaytraffic.com text links but no success, and they don't seem to want to tell me where the traffic is coming from, does anyone have a source of qualified traffic we can purchase?

IMHO your best bet for buying traffic so to use AdWords, granted the potency of that traffic source has dwindled over the last few years but it is still by far the best source you will find where you *KNOW* the location of the traffic being sent from is 'legit'.

Most adult traffic brokers i have worked with over the years have either had really crap traffic or they priced themselves out of the market.

Actually i lie, HunkHunter used to have good traffic, havent bought from him in a while though (since he did the redesign a year or two back) so cant vouch for the quality of it now.

http://www.traffic-in.com/ has clicked traffic and therefor can't deliver high amounts but prod is good. If you plan to make sales from bought traffic then completely forget about all brokers....

We're finally getting our asses into the gay traffic market. For those that don't know MadisonAvenue, I started off as ConsumptionJunction / CJTraffic back in 1999. Been in the adult industry since 1994 when I worked at Adam & Eve and launched their site.

Anyway, MadAve is a very high end ad rotation solution Publishers use for free to run all their ads: affiliate/commission based campaigns, retail (ones they sell) campaigns, and optionally Network campaigns (ones we sell).

Our system supports 6 ad types: banners, 2 types of text links, floating ads, page peel, and IM Ads. Cool thing is the CPC is the same per ad type so we can rotate you around all of them.

On our system you can pick and choose your Publishers and you always know exactly where your traffic is coming from.

That said it'll be pretty easy if you're looking for gay traffic. We don't have a hell of a lot so right now the biggest publisher for you would be x-digg.com's gay tube section. Details about that are up on our blog at blog.madisonavenue.com.

Well before you get out the rope to lynch me you might want to actually take a look at the site. First, it's a 100% legal / legit tube in that there is no stolen content. Second, the tube is a section, a part of an overall community / social bookmarking site.

I didn't want to lynch you mate, I just said that I hardly believe that anyone would see many sales from your traffic. And I HAD a look at your site before judging about it. It's a legal tube site - yes!
Doesn't change the fact that x-digg targets freeloaders and social bookmarking surfers who are after free porn!
If you guys manage to generate good revenues for paysites with your free tube site then you guys are fantastic!! :cowboy:

I'm just wondering why you promote the usual supects such as ImLive, Live Jasmin, have banners saying "Get 10 free minutes..." (again the word "free") when you could sell long term memberships to other paysites...

No worries man, I was in a very pissy mood yesterday. Bottom line, I've got lots of publishers who do offer free content but also generate great conversions for our advertisers. Just a question of matching up the right offering.

Case in point, if you're advertising on a tube site, use creatives that specifically indicate the price points. Sure CTR is worse but it filters out a lot of the free loaders.

Please understand MadisonAvenue.com is an Ad Rotation Solution with Ad Network Functionality. So our Publishers use us to not only sell their ads but to run ads on affiliate basis and sell ads themselves. So the ads you're referring to are ones that X-Digg put in to run themselves either on affiliate or retail basis.
