hi-res picture only paysites ?

I was wondering if there are any hi-res picture only paysite on the gay marked and if there is what are their urls ?

Would you think there is a marked for a hi-res picture only site or is it all about the movies now ?

Would you as an affiliate promote a site that only focused on hi-res pictures?

There is a market for everything, no matter how large, or how small someone will buy whatever you are offering, especially if the price is right.

For some examples of pic only sites, check out some of the REALLY old sites from the sponsors who founded the adult industry 10+ years ago, CE's gay programs come to mind, from what i recall, the last time i checked their members area out it was full of images and the only 'movies' they had were video feeds.

Some of the SilverCash gay sites also have more images in them than they do actual 'movie' content too, especially the older sites in their portfolio.

As it happens, ive been considering launching some 'pic' only sites for a while and offering the memberships on them at about $15 a month, given the current state of the economy right now some 'cheap' porn sites might sell well.

Oh just to add, the programs i mentioned above also have some of the BEST converting gay sites around so it isnt purely content that makes a sale, if you have a tour that actually sells the site, you could in reality send enough traffic to a site that only contained 1 image set and nothing else and you would inevitably make a sale... Eventually.

Of course, this is where members area feeds come in to play, if you dont update with 'actual' content, feeds are a great way to keep members, especially feeds that update on a regular schedule.

A lot of the feeds in use by the old-school programs include those from pornholios.com and to be honest, they havent updated some of their feeds in YEARS but im reliably told they still retain members in the sites that use them.

Then if you intend to make money from the sites above and beyond initial/recurring billing, VOD would be another way to add 'premium movie theatres' to a site.

Thank you for this input Lee.

For this project i would like to not have to reley on feeds provided by others etc as the straight sites i work for use this approce and to be honest quality of the feeds are not really all that great and we shopped around for some of the best ones out there when we started..

The idea with the VOD add-on is a good one and i think that could add some upsell and also a feeling of the videos being there..

As you said almost everything can sell at least 1 membership if the price is right and i am not really looking for a breadwinner here just looking for a way to make a bit of money of some content i have available so perhaps pricing the site cheeply will help sell it and keep members satisfied with only pictures and VOD upsell...

However pricing the site cheeply would make it nearly impossible to get affiliates for it i guess ?

Affiliates will promote anything that will make them money.

Most will say publicly that they wont but the reality is, they will.

Some of my harshest critics publicly of the Condom Cash sites make the most money from them $0.02

Bottom line is, what someone says they will promote, and what they actually promote are two totally different things.
