Is Wordpress Still The Most Popular Blog Script?

Or are there other alternatives out there that deserve to be looked at?

Im guessing that Wordpress is the script with the most additional plugins for it, but how many additional features do basic blogs need other than some kind of spam catcher/pinger?

I'd say it's probably the most used of the available scripts. Another one to look at might be the movable type.

We started a blog a couple weeks back, haven't played around with it yet. But we are using Wordpress. The blog is SSPornBlog.com. It's still being worked on, etc. Hoping to have it fully completed by January 1.
