what payment option is the most popular for affiliates?

our stats are showing most want checks, then epass, then wires, direct deposit, etc

but what do you guys prefer?

never made sense to me why people out of the US would prefer a wire to a direct deposit, direct deposits are quicker and less expensive. thanks for the response

i would think check, epassporte, wire, direct deposit.

why? because i've seen issues with direct deposit and the programs were able to remove all the money and then re-send it. i would think that could be a real issue for smaller webmasters. i remember once when ars did it, affiliates had checks bouncing, and that's not a good thing.

your saying with direct deposit there is a way to retrieve the funds? i know in some cases you can recall funds, but you have to have the account holders permission, ill have to look into this

checks is a pain in the ass, i wouldnt promote anyone that only had checks as payment option.

ACH (free), ePassporte ($2), Payoneer ($5).

We have a separate account where all of our incoming ACH funds go. Once funds are deposited to that account, we immediately move them to a different account. That keeps anyone who does an ACH transaction from reversing it and causing problems.

As far as the legality of it... many organizations take funds without permission to do so, but it's nearly impossible to get a DA interested unless there's real criminal intent and it's for a substantial amount of money.

??? what expenses are involved in getting your checks to the bank? we bank right by where we live, and it's also right by where we shop. it costs us no extra gas, virtually no time and no fee to deposit our checks. i wouldn't bank far from where we are - it complicates things.

btw, it does say you're in portland next to your name, so that lets out eu check fees...

The extra time and expense is small per trip (and yes I combine errands into one trip), but figure that for an entire year. With quite a few epassporte and ACH sponsors, I notice a difference!
