Movie Free Sites - 3 Minutes Total Video?

What are your folks thoughts on the total amount of video to have on hosted movie sites?

Right now im aiming for 3 minutes (4 x 45 second clips) at 320x240.

Do you think this is to much, to little or just right?

For free hosted movie sites for affiliates of Tube Tender.

Like regular free hosted sites but with movie content instead of pic content

Cool, i figured it was actually a lot to give away but i fugured as the entire 3 minutes will be split in to 4 x 45 second clips it would be fine, wanted to double check though hehe

Fnd me any movie gallery with larger sized videos.

I looked and couldnt find many that would actually sell with larger resolutions than that $0.02

Most sponsors i found also offered hosted movie galleries at this size, including several very well known gay sponsor programs.

Im not saying that at all, was just going based on what i saw.

Right now i have the source files in 720x480-ish so its not to hard for me to encode at any size.

Just not wanting to give the horse away along with the cart, im already starting to doubt the 3 minutes in total based on the other sites i have seen, if im going to be going to a larger length and bitrate already im not sure if larger size is also going to work.

Id rather offer smaller sizes at a higher quality and longer length because that leaves me something to 'sell' in the paysite members area... Larger sizes.

If i give away longer clips, larger resolutions AND higher quality there is no reason for a surfer to become a member of the site im promoting on the hosted free site or galleries.

As is aid, i just dont want to give the horse and the cart away for free.
