Do sponsors ever work with freelance directors?

I have a video production background and would like to start filming gay porn scenes, but I really don't want to start my own adult membership site because of all the hassle. I'd rather sell my work to established sites.

Do sponsors ever work with freelance directors? If so, how does one go about getting assignments?

Can anyone suggest some specific sponsors who are open to working with new directors? Badpuppy is the only one I am aware of.

Im pretty sure you will find its actually a whole lot LESS hassle to operate your own paysite than it is to shoot content for others

My company uses many freelance directors, i would say 50% of our content is produced this way. Currently i have 4 who are shooting content for me on a regular basis. If you have access to Athletic and muscular models who are in very good shape, then i would be happy to discuss the possibility of you shooting for my company. My company has seen many advantages to using Freelance directors for some of our content.
Each of our freelance producers lives in another part of the world, and has access to models in his area.
Each producer has his own style and approch to shooting the models, our members really like this, as opposed to having all the models shot by the same producer and same style, it all starts to look the same. We like to bring a different look and feel to each video, to keep things fresh and different.
The process we use is very easy, if you have a models that is suitable, then email us several recent photos, if approved, we work out a all-enclusive price ( your fee plus the models fee) you do the shoot, have them sign our model release, and Fed-ex the mini-DV tape and photos. A side note to Mark Wolff: I had the opportunity to rent one of your DVDs recently and was very impressed! I was not that familiar with your sites but definitely plan to check them out now!
