Upsell Stats For The Last 24 Months Based On Niche...

So i added a feature to our custom CMS early last year which allowed me to see which specific type of upsell was being clicked/viewed based on specific niches in the members areas and i have to say, there are some very interesting statistical numbers that i have found.

Several niches clearly prefer one type of upsell over the others (and the upsell sales seem to reflect this to).

For example once inside the members areas...

Bear niche traffic - Really loves upsells to personals sites.
Twink niche traffic - Really loves to buy Evidence Wipe.
Solo niche traffic - Really loves to buy cam show memberships.
Retro niche traffic - Seems to love PPV theatres.

Has anyone else who owns multiple niche paysites ever done a comparison based on niches/upsells and if so, did you results mirror those that i have found?

I wonder what makes one specific niche surfer prefer one type of upsells over another?

Actually, your traffic preferences make a LOT of sense.

Bears -- they want to find someone to snuggle with
Twinks - they want to eliminate all evidence they're into boys
Solo -- live version of a solo performance vs pics/movies of same = still a voyeur

Retro -- PPV continues the old film preference (seriously, those movies are OLD OLD OLD)
