Anybody Have a Hi8 For Sale?

I have two Hi8 tapes I need to transfer. Before I go to eBay, I thought I'd see if anyone on GWW has a cheap camcorder or player to sell me. If you do, give me a shout!

A few months ago I rented a Hi8 for the day and transferred some tapes. Only cost about $40.

A video transfer place wanted about $250 per tape to transfer.

If you rent instead of buy, you won't have another worthless gadget sitting around.

I do not have one for sale, but I would be more than happy to transfer what you need onto a DVD or something for you. I have all the equipment for almost every type of video transfer for my "real" business.

As long as it is not too long, I would be happy to do it free of charge. Just mail me the tapes and I can get it done.

Thanks to those of you who posted. A very generous webmaster in Toronto offered to send me his old Hi8 system for a small trade-out. I'm happy and so is he!
