Hi,
Has anyone ever been paid by colt cash.
I notice they are not in the directory here and was wondering if I should stop sending any traffic to them.
Thanks

The other reason I am asking is because I reached the 100 dollar payout threshold in October, but have not yet received a check.
I have emailed, and they responded with incorrect info. So I emailed again and again and never got a response.
So I called and he said he would get back to me, AND DID NOT.
I called back again and they said they will send a check in January, I asked why so long since I should have received check in November???
He said "Can I get back to you?"......AGAIN
We'll see if he does......
If he doesn't I will call back, but I think I am gonna take down all my links to them, I'll give em one more week, but I am definitely not linking to them from next week till February which is when they say the check would arrive???
When I get paid they can have my link traffic again, but it's not really worth all the trouble for such a little conversion rate and maybe no payout at all.
They always pay on time!

Really, cause I reached the payout amount in October, and should have received a check by now, so I would say that's not really on time.
Maybe they paid you on time, but so far alot of people have looked at this post, and only one person has said they paid them......
The most annoying part of the whole thing is the way they didn't email back and then when I spoke to them on the phone, they always said they will get back to me and then do not. That's really really annoying. I shouldn't have to chase a big company around like a three year old kid to get an answer.
Now I am having posters regret.
I am not usually a negative person, and I should be more patient.
It's just that this biz can take a lot of time to reach payout levels and it gets frustrating when you expect a check and don't receive it when you think it's gonna come.
I've been burned a few times by online stuff and get a little zealous when I feel it might be happening again.
I also have worked alot in customer service positions with various companies, so I have high standards when it comes to responding to email and phone contacts and it frustrates me when I don't get the same type of service I would give, but that's my own pet peeve and I need to work on that.
I will try to be more patient, and wait, and hopefully good things will come....like the check....and when it does, I'll update this post again, since I can't delete the ones I have allready made.
I hope noone holds these posts against me, or as a judge of character.

Damn, I just double checked to be 100% sure because I had a feeling... The last payments we received which I thought was Coltcash weren't them and I noticed that they owe us a total of almost 6000 $ since we didn't receive a payment since payout period up to june. I just contacted them and we'll see what they have to say about this

Bump!
Anyone got paid for last few months?
They owe me 2 last payments, ~$2.3k totally. I can't understand why 40y.o. studio act this way. That looks pretty wired...

Yes, after asking them for my money a hundred times I got part of my money in january. They still owe me a lot of money which is still from last year and I'm not sure if they will ever pay me...
I'm giving them a last chance and after that deadline our lawyer will take care of it. I'm afraid Colt Studios might be bankrupt or something, has anybody any info's?

Let's cooperate, guys.
Coltmakes pretty good stuff, but they can't act this way with webmasters. We have to do ssomething about that.

A very successful webmaster and producer told to be really careful dealing with companies that don't use trusted and reliable places such as CCBill and Epoch. If a company is going to pay you by themselves, they sometimes are late, or lie about the correct amount of money they owe you. I'm not saying that Colt is one of these types of companies. It just depends on the company. However, after years of dealing with outrageous hassles, the guy who told me this made a decision to never deal with a company that doesn't use an agency that is well-known for being reliable. As I'm new to all this, this thread is interesting and useful.
funny because the most successful webmasters i know - real whales - prefer to get paid direct, not via ccbill or epoch. also funny because one can generally get paid per sale only via the company, not via ccbill or epoch and also because one generally makes the highest amounts of sales with full cascading (as i recall, epoch doesn't allow ccbill to be first in the cascade, although i could be wrong).
and let's not forget that a lot of programs only average 1.5 or 2 months retention, or have a low-cost trial with only 20 or 25% conversion, which means there's literally no chance with them you'll make as much money as pay per signup.
there are many many programs like ars who are very flexible and not only pay on time but more frequently - weekly, in their case. i prefer a mix of ccbill/epoch revshare and pps.
er... like what?
many revshare sites don't actually retain that well, but some do. the ones that retain well it makes sense to promote as revshare. ones that don't, or that pay well for PPS (pay per sale), it makes sense to promote as PPS. a mix of both revshare and PPS means that when things slow down, one's income is regularized by rebills but the sites that sell well and retain so-so you make the most from by getting paid for each sale.
with cascading, when a sale is declined, that surfer is given a chance to join through another processor. also with full cascading where the program owner controls which processor is the primary, on days when there are connectivity or slowing problems with their usual primary processor the owner can switch to the other processor and avoid missing sales. cascading usually adds up to around 10% more money.
the thing is to experiment till you have your perfect balance so that each site you sell well is making you the most money per click.
btw, many programs will bump up payouts for those with a lot of traffic or sales. if you send lots of sales, chances are you can get PPS up $5 to $10 per sale for a lot of programs and revshare up to 60%.
