You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

Would You Ever Consider Paying Someone...

To do what you do in your business now?

For example, say you had to take an extended leave of abscence or wanted to start another business, would you consider paying someone an annual salary to do the exact same things that you current do with your adult business?

Do you think this person could actually meet or exceed the amount of stuff you get done in a day?

    Your thoughts?

    Regards,

    Lee

I think people forget to "back up" themselves so at a minimum you should already have an "assistant" to take charge when something unexpected happens.
I won't have a "back up" for adult because what I do works because I do it , mainstream however pretty much runs itself.

I've been searching on and off the last couple of years to find someone to do what I do so I can focus solely on content production.

When I find them I will be very grateful :bunny:

Agreed. Even finding someone competent to do the support roles has been a challenge. Finding someone capable of making major decisions and planning long-term growth... well, let's just say that, even in this economy, those people aren't exactly falling out of the trees.

While this industry (represented by members here) has fostered affiliates of sponsor programs, and buying, selling and trading of consulting and content services amongst each other, we really are lacking in a couple of important business service areas that other industries have: access to capital and independent webmaster services.

Right now I could use an extra $3000 capital. Not because sales are down, in fact that are at or above current year and previous year targets, but because I have the longest waiting list ever of male models who want to do solo and duo video projects.

I've been shooting 2-3 a week, where I usually shoot 2-4 per month. I've got porn stars, SAG actors, CraigsList hookers, and university guys waiting.

That and the volume of projects I have turned out in the past 3 months has been more than the VOD providers can keep up with in terms of encoding and making live, especially during AEBN's recent move to larger quarters. So I've got a 6-week cue with them.

I'd like to have a membership paysite devoted to my content. VOD is really great, but membership paysites serve additional consumer interests. I travel and shoot, and can't deal with the webmaster and IT portions of maintaining a membership site.

I'd like to have someone handle my DVD orders, DVD-R on demand fulfillment.

So it is a shame that with the consumer demand being what it is, and has been through thick and thin, we don't have vendors in place to offer the above services, and probably more.
