Whats With The Need To Fuck With The Surfers Browser Lately?

Im seeing lots of requests in the past few weeks for pop ups, pop unders, im ads, browser redirects, etc, etc on a wide range of boards from webmasters wanting to screw with the surfers browser, why?

Are adult webmasters really that desperate to make sales that they want to start throwing surfers in to console chains again?

But of course...I can remember getting my first computer w/internet access (dial up) in 94' soon I was drawn to porn like any respectable sissy! I would goto a site a BAM!! About 100 screens would start to attack me.

Sometimes I had to shut my pc off to get away from them.

I never understood the whole concept of pop-ups and pop-unders etc...I get really pissed when it happens and don't go back to the site, seems to me they alienate more potential clients then draw them in.

its because people know how to do it, for the longest time there was only 1 script that worked and broke ie & ff's anti-popups, etc....and it was kept to a select group who purchased it, but it looks like its gotten released somewhere (maybe another forum??? not sure)
