People In The Industry Who Just 'Disappeared' How Many Can You Name?

I was just thinking about this for no reason other than i saw a thread being crawled by Google about Darren Austin and i started wondering what ever happened to him, then i got to thinking about all the other people who have hit the gay webmasters community over the years that have just vanished.

How many people can you think of that used to be seen a lot at the industry shows or on industry message boards that are no longer around?

Here's my list of people from GWW that just vanished that i can think of off the top of my head...

As far as models, I don't think there are more than one or two that have stuck around more than a few weeks, and there are quite a few dinky programs, usually started by former models, that have launched and disappeared within a month or two.

I seem to recall that was her exit plan and it was actually quite well publicized she was on her way out of the biz from what i recall.

He sold his board and disappeared. I don't ever see galleries that I think might be his either.

I kinda expect reps to vanish. I'm never entirely sure where reps come from, but they seem to leave all the time.

What happened to Rocky from Eon Films? Haven't seen him around forever.

Last I heard, Rocky had moved back east and is now shooting content for a number of programs.

I guess I missed the memo on Ally.

I do remember that Caren Goldberg from Freshmen/Specialty was the exec director of an anti-piracy nonprofit thing but that's the closest to a charity announcement I can remember.

hey guys. i have reappeared! imagine my shock when i came on here for the first time in a month or so and saw my name here. Kind of nice actually
Thanks for the kind words Bill. By the way i didn't sell the board. I never owned it. I ran it for one of the big companies and i got laid off. I wish i had sold it! Yes i also still do soft core. I know i know its not as profitable but during the whole 2257 thing i was able to sleep a little better although even i was worried.
oh and i dont do tgps anymore. havent in over a year or so. Just free sites and blogs.
So where have i been? Well after over 9 years, oy has it been that long, in porn ive started to slowly move into other areas. I have an anti-aging biz that's starting to do very well. In fact im planning on having a spa party for all the L.A webmasters sometime soon. Ive been keeping the 2 business separate then realized they were a perfect fit! Webmasters need their models to look good before a shoot and i have the perfect product to do that. Dont know why it took me so long to connect the 2..
So theres a short history of where ive been and what ive been doing. When i sling the porn i really only have time to do my sites and blogs so have stayed away from the boards although i kind of miss them Thanks again for noticing i was gone!
