How Many Sales Do You Expect To Make From A Blog Post?

Lets say you made a new blog post today, how many sales would you expect to make from that single post over the course of the next week?

Ive been talking to a few people lately and looking at some of the affiliate stats on Condom Cash from those who do a lot of blog promotion and from what i can gather from the data i have seen and conversations i have had, it seems like 2-4 sales a week from a single blog post seems to be the average amount of sales for average trafficked blogs.

How about you folks, would you say you expect to make between two and four sales in the first week a blog post is entered (with more obviously once the post is archived and hits the SEs).

I figure an average blog gets between 500-2000 hits a day based on some of the blogs traffic stats i have seen.

Not talking major sites like GayPornBlog.

Actually, most of them dont seem to last to long, i have a bunch of affiliates on Condom Cash that have some nice specific blogs over at BlogSpot and Blogger, the referring urls for the sales they send changes each month because it looks like the blogs they have only last a month or so before the provider pulls them down.

They do pull in some nice sales though from doing very little work but im not sure if its because of their promotion of the blogs or if the sales are just 'random' from people hitting their blogs via the SEs.

Oh really? Well clearly there's nothing at all shady happening with those blogs.

Real nice legitimate work I'm sure, using properly licensed content and never ever considering gaming the terms and conditions of the various possible traffic sources and freehosts.

I know I often make productive blogs then pull them down right away. Sales frighten me.

They must be REALLY good writers, effortlessly including juicy profitable keyphrases and irresistable selling text in their breezy informative and erotically stimulating posts. Now I feel foolish. :square:

My busiest blogs average just under 500 unique visitors per day. My feel is that a good blog post will make about 1 sale for a good paysite. A barebones RSS-fed post will make well under 1 sale.
