Looking to Buy Adult Images To Be Used On Large Convention Banners

Hi...

As 1800GAYLIVE continues to expand into more cities this year, we are going to be attending more adult conventions and Pride Fests in 2009. If any of you saw our booth at the Gay Erotic Expo (I know Jasun and Jake Cruise did) one of our biggest problems was we didn't have a sexy banner to display in the background so it looked really plain.

We just got approved in our 2009 budget to purchase some (partly because I took pictures of all the other booths at the show, then ours, and showed upper management the obvious benefit of having some eye candy in the background).

Anyway... does anyone here either work for or know of a place that would sell us images that are of high enough quality they could be used on banners without getting distorted. Or even better a company that makes the banners for you? The images can be either hardcore or semi-hardcore of men, alone or in couples. The types of men we are looking for will vary from twinks to bears and all races, ages, etc.

If anyone can help point me in the right direction with this, I would appreciate it! Thanks!

Its going to depend on the size of the banner and also the DPI of the images you purchase as to whether or not you are going to be able to use them on banners.

Your best bet would be to speak with a banner company and find out their basic requirements and go from there

I got one reply via Private Message which I am looking into further, but maybe I need to clairfy what I meant in my first post.

I am really looking for two things, both the photos themselves and then the banners. What we want to do is go through a library of photos that we could have the rights to purchase, and once we pick the images we’d like, then we would have them turned into banners. So the matter of finding pictures comes first I suppose. We are just a phone based service and don’t have models that we employee. We have hired some for photo shoots in the past, but we want some slightly more erotic photos than we have been able to get on our own. Not hardcore sex, but perhaps at least couples kissing or some implied foreplay stuff, or even solo banners with guys with a hard-on, but in underwear I think, no full nudity. But we want to see what our options are, and then we would get them made into banners, so we need a company comfortable working with this sort of material.

So if any one sells their own content or can recommend anyone to me that we could contact to see what they have for sale that would be where I'd need to start. As well I'd need a place to work with to make these banners that are comfortable with the potential images we would be using.

Thanks for the advice Lee. I don't know how big they want them yet, I guess some of that depends on price. So maybe I need to start with the banner place, then find the images. Makes sense!
