Quality Vs. Quantity - Which One Is Better?

So i was wondering, when it comes to you building free sites and galleries which of the two do you prefer to work towards?

Do you prefer building fewer sites but with a higher quality or, lower quality sites but lots of them?

Im actually not sure i agree with the majority on this for several reasons, the primary one being if you only concentrate on a few quality sites, you are significantly cutting down your market reach whereas, concentrating on pumping out quantity of product, gives you a much larger market reach/penetration (more varied traffic) resulting in more sales over a larger range of products.

That being said, i can see how a few high quality products would certainly be of benefit to but in the long run, when it comes to quantifying your business, its going to make it much easier for a new higher quality product (competitor) to come along and depleat your earnings based on few higher quality products than it would for lots of lower quality ones.

Quality over quantity every time.

I disagree. I would say quantity over quality up to a certain degree. Doing two average quality sites doesn't take double the time than doing on quality site.
It's a concave function and today it's all about networking!
Having like 500 average blogs or spam blogs with less certain updates and only 10 "money maker" blogs which get supported by all their inbound links will make you a lot more money than concentrating on 5 "quality blogs" where you do 5 updates a day with the very best sponsor content and all the like.

It depends a lot of course, ifyou wanna have sucess with a paysite in a very competitive market then it's about the quality. If you're doing free sites, galleries, blogs and TGP's it's all about quantity!
