How Do You Determine If A Site Is Over-Saturated Or Not?

Also once you have decided, how long do you continue to promote an over-saturated paysite?

Do you base your decision on deciding if a site is over-saturated based on sales that you generate, amount of times you see the site being marketed to surfers or something else?

For me i typically shy away from promoting sites that i see everyone else marketing or, sites that i see being referred heavily on various industry boards, to me that means there is just to much competition to grab the surfers attention and make them join via one of my sites vs another webmasters or even typing the paysites url directly in to their browser and joining the site directly.

What about you folks, how do you decide whether or not to promote a site that you feel may be over-saturated?

    Regards,

    Lee
