When An Affiliate Program Contacts You....

Do you respond to them?

A few weeks ago i sent out an email asking if those affiliates who had joined Condom Cash that hadnt sent any traffic or low levels of traffic needed any help with getting traffic flowing to our sites, so far i have heard back from 2 affiliates :eek:

Do you think this is a normal response to programs when they contact their affiliates who arent performing well compared to others or do you think it depends on the message that was sent out?

Do you reply to affiliate emails when they come in from a program asking if you need help or anything specific to help you promote their sites better or not?

I've had a few like that, replied and never heard a word back. I've even had some I didn't know I had signed up for contact me, and those I ignored.

I've promoted CC, not done well, but never got your email either :embarassed: so some may simply not be getting them, and others, have moved on or are simply skeptical.

I always try to respond, but there is always a lot to do and I must admit that I mostly loose track of replying to emails. So when 3 or 4 weeks have passed, they are either forgotten or I don't feel like responding after such a long time. Not nice, I know.. but knowing your shortcomings is a first step to do better in future.

I always try to reply .... I have so much happening that I might miss 1 out of 50 but I do my best!

i have only joined a few programs right now and i contact them if i need anything so far nobody has emailed me asking if i needed help with their sites yet

It really depends on what its about for me, if its just another bland attempt at marketing that looks like its been bulk emailed then I will delete it....but if its more personal then I will always reply.

I don't recall any such letter either.

But I usually don't reply to such letters, unless they are really clever or are somehow offering me something.

I try to stay on top of emails. I try and reply to an email within 30 minutes of the time it was received on my end. Fast responses do impress people. At least it does me.
So yea.
