do typing errors work to get traffic in search engines

i noticed that i made an error when i was writing some text for one of my freebie sites and i spelt uniform wrong i actually put uniFROM and i seem to be getting some traffic from yahoo from people spelling it the same way i did

do you think it would be a good idea to deliberatly spell some more words wrong to try and get more traffic in this way or should i try to get my spelling right all the time and not worry about keyword mistake traffic?

Yes typo traffic can be gleamed from the SE's deliberatly however, i wouldnt focus my efforts purely on typo generated SE traffic, there are actually more people who spell words correctly than incorrectly

Any extra traffic you can get from the SEs directly is a good thing though
