do i have to submit my freebie sites to get listed in the google?

i was just searching google to see how many of my urls are listed and it looks like all of them are right now but my question is do i need to send my freebie sites to places like gaydemon and manpics2000 for them to be listed in the search engine?

i see some sites are listed that do not have back links to these places and it makes me wonder if google will find the sites on my homepage on its own or if by sending them for listing on these other sites it will be better for me.

You need at least one inbound link from a site that is indexed (and gets crawled) by google to get indexed yourself. The link shouldn't be "nofollow" obviously

I guess you where searching for backlings at google using "link:domain.com"... head over to http://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/ and search for the url (e.g. http://www.domain.com ) using the top input box (not the one on the side)
