does straight porn sell good too

i am thinking about building a couple of freebie sites with some straight sponsors that i was checking out over the weekend and was curious to see what you all thought about this idea

do straight porn sites like lesbian and teens sell good like gay porn sites do?

i have been checking some of the posts on gfy and it seems like a lot of webmasters promoting the straight paysites are complaining because sales are low because of free tube sites do you think this is the wrong thing for me to do or should i stop with just promoting gay porno paysites

I have never had much luck selling straight sites, but there is a huge market out there for it so you may have some good results. I say try it and see how it goes for you.

People actually watch straight porn? I thought it was one of those endeavors people do because they love the work, not because they made any money at it. Like poetry. Or working for the Environmental Protection Agency. :shades:

There's money there still, but, less than before, and the profit margin tends to be a bit lower.

Doing teen would be a bit crazy. Very competitive.

Roughly ten times as much traffic as gay, in general.

We have 2 straight membership sites. Truthfully, we've only made our money back and some profit. I would stick with what you now rather than trying to jump into something that your not used to. I'm sure it sells. But from our experiences in having a straight site, I wouldn't suggest it.

The mainstream 'hardcore' market is saturated, but selling niche stuff is little different from gay. Redhead MILFs differs from pigtailed teens like bears differ from Latin twinks. Does that make any sense?

We have 30 'front-line' straight sites and another 70 niche sites (reorganized content from the main sites to really hit micro-niche surfers), so if you want to dabble in the straight market, send me an e-mail and I'll get you started with some content packs or some embeddable clips. Could even help you set up a 'faux-tube-site' with short flash clips we can host for you.

teen has HUGE traffic and unless you have a perfect sponsor, conversions are meh.

just like with gay, a niche or micro niche means much better sales. for example, two of our best selling str8 niches used to be girls in socks and hairy pussies. and we made even better money on our own avs sites for niches we couldn't find paysites for - girls with freckles, hairy pussy grandmas, babes with unshaved pussies (most hairy girl sites use amateurs) and college girls in socks.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

Absolutely BUT you have to choose a niche that isnt over-saturated, such as teens, lesbian and solo girl sites.

If you can find a good niche that you know how to sell, for example, if you sell well with latin guys, try promoting latin women, if you sell well with black guys, try promoting ebony women, etc then go for it.

Conversion ratios are not as good as they used to be but the sales are certainly still there to be made and with a lot of webmasters on the straight side of the industry concentrating more and more on 'reality' style content, now really is a good time to start pushing some non-reality paysite content

    Regards,

    Lee
