    New Member of our family

    We have brought home a new member of the family today. Thought I'd share this.



    This is Bandit. He's a 6 year old Australian Sheep Dog Mix. He's been rescued from the SPCA. He joins our family of 2 other dogs (2 labs), 5 cats, and 2 Ferrets. He's also our guard dog of the office! NOT!

    All of my animals are rescue animals. They have all been rescued in one way or another even taken out of abused homes. I will never ever get a purebred or buy one from a pet store. Too many animals need homes from the SPCA's. Such as Bandit, he's been there since November, 2006.

    Truthfully, what can a purebred do for you that a rescue animal cannot? Everyone has their favorite choice of dogs. For example, a friend of mine has a purebred husky that he paid like $800 for. They're beautiful dogs, but the love and loyalty is no different. But anyways, yea I would love to save the world of animals, unfortunately I don't have a very big house... it's a 3 bedroom house (upstairs and downstairs) very large backyard.

    btw i just brought home my new puppy too - it's a french bulldog, 4 months old.. she's sooo hyperactive, but i already fell in love with her!
