SkaterBucks Signup Process - Anyone Else Find This Weird?

http://www.skaterbucks.com - Just went to signup to their program, filled out the new affiliate form and then it wanted me to signup to both of the processors as well :eek:

Needless to say, i didnt go any further than filling out the first form, having to signup to a single sponsor 3 times is just crazy imho.

Why do programs make it so difficult to promote their sites?

Zack is a really good guy, why don't you shoot him an email and communicate your concerns? My guess is maybe they haven't set up cascading billing yet and are trying to make sure that affiliates get paid regardless of whom the biller is.

Yes, they should have it better organized but there are a lot of tiny operations out there who are trying to do everything with limited staff resources... so I say, give 'em a break!

I dont doubt he is a good guy, i just dont want to signup 3 times to promote one site.

Once he has fixed it up ill be more than happy to signup but right now, ive moved on, have more important things to do with my time than email a program owner who may, or may not respond to my email anyway.

Meh if the sites good I don't mind signing up three times to make sure I get paid by all of their processors.

I don't think I know any of the skaterbucks people but I sure can relate to being a small operation and working with limited resources :pimp:

I'm on Lee's side with this.

When I signed up to SIC Stats / SIC Cash, their form screwed up. I didn't feel like filling out the form again, so I just left. Since I've had no desire to go back.

Just like sites that you have to await manual approval / activation. Screw those. Like that CollegeDudes247.com... It took a week before I was approved.

I think when someone is ready to promote a site, they are ready to do it at that time and are creating "product placement" to promote that site. That's how we do it. When we have a slot open where ever it may be, that's when we look for a "filling" on that spot.

I really think that sponsor programs need to make it as easy as possible, as quick as possible, and offer good navigation on the promo tools. With this, I think you have a good program. Everyone's time is money.

I tried to sign up for the underwear site (undietwinks, I think) site at http://www.skaterbucks.com and was unsuccessful, despite many emails back and forth with them and one which said they would check with Epoch. I do well with their Boys-Smoking.

I wanted to signup for undietwinks.com but the links on there site are broken and they don't seem interested in fixing them. I have emailed them to tell them that the top image links " join, members, tour" on there site don't work in Explorer 7 but they never fixed them two months later.
