Blogs - Is WordPress Still The Best Option?

When it comes o blog scripts do those of you who run blogs of your own still feel like wordpress is the better option to go with right now?

We're looking at setting up a few blogs to run some RSS feeds on for some non-adult sites and wondered if WordPress was the best option to go with?

BO just came out with an update last week (first one in about a year), the new version adds some nice features too. I HIGHLY recommend building in BO instead of WP if you don't need all those WP plugins, because BO blogs are so much simpler (its basic html) and you won't be upgrading it every week to cover security issues like WP.

i did use wp, but managing 40+ wp blogs was a pain in the ass for me so i coded my own custom blog network solution in about a week or so... i've tried BO too and it's great
